About: Nora Islam is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Maritime Tourism & Hospitality Management, at Bangladesh Maritime University. She did her BBA and MBA in Tourism & Hospitality Management under the Faculties of Business Studies at the University of Dhaka. She also attended several tourism-related seminars and training sessions which enrich her knowledge, and where she gained experience in conducting research in tourism settings in Bangladesh. She has worked as a consultant for various Government Research projects including for the Bangladesh Tourism Board, and the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
